By now you should have had a chance to take a look at the new IS web pages at www.umkc.edu/is. I’m ready to get some URLs from you to start filling in the content of these pages. Here’s what I need:
1) The URL for your departmental web page that will link to www.umkc.edu/is. Also send me a short one sentence description of your department to appear in a drop down or mouse over menu. Please check with your director and send me a sentence to describe your department.
2) The URLs that you want to link to the following pages:
Faculty/Staff:
Students
Community
These URLS should link to the main services that you provide for these three groups. I will not put any links on these pages except those from Training & Communications and those that I get from you. Please give me only your most important links, we don’t want a huge list of links here. The alphabetical directory on the bottom of page www.umkc.edu/is serves that purpose. Therefore I also need . . .
3) The URLS you want listed on the alphabetical index displayed on the main page, along with a short sentence describing the link.
