The Band
The Band
Voyage was founded in late 2009 by Canadian born saxophonist, bandleader and educator Dan Thomas. With an eye on the creative process and a hope of taking a unique voyage of group/self expression, many new compositions were penned by each member of the ensemble. The selfless play and synergy created by each professional member is sure to continue creating many once in a lifetime listening experiences.
Dan Thomas is a dedicated performer and educator who emigrated to the United States from his native Canada in 1993. He has received countless performance awards, and has performed as well as presented with some of the most important jazz performers and pedagogues in nearly every state in the continental US, Canada and abroad.
