About the Designer

Shavon Dean originated from the “Show-Me-
State,” Missouri, in 1981.  Though a good portion
of her life was spent there, she has also spent time in
various parts of the United States.  Creativity was and
still is a part of Dean that only gets better over
time.  She's never sets a limit for herself in design,
which allows her to explore design on levels far
beyond the natural world.  In making a big decision to
pursue modeling dreams in L.A., Dean saw up close exactly how
rough the industry was.  But, it wasn’t rough enough to keep her out.  For nearly two years she participated in local and national events, competitions, and promotions.  As we all know, the industry also has huge droughts, but even the droughts weren’t enough to depress her creative whim.
Dean began doing makeovers for friends that included a hair-do, complete facial with make-up, and a small photo shoot.  Her success in this small endeavor blew up so rapidly that modeling had become a lesser of her priorities.  Instead, she was able to do all of things she’d normally considered hobbies and make great friends and money.  Dean later, after great                               success in L.A., decided to move back to Kansas City                                and start a business that was proven to be very lucrative.                               Shortly after her return to the Mid-West, Dean experie-                                     nced that that she calls one of “God’s Blessings”                                         through another quick road to success.  Her experi-                                            ence, up to this point was so respected that her                                            clientele would wait nearly a month to be put on                                                       her schedule.  Dean eventually added                                                           another form of art to her collage of talents;                                                        jewelry design.  She started off making earrings                                                    ,then wearing them to find out what others thought                                       of them.  Almost immediately, women were interested anywhere that Dean found herself.  This encouraged her to continue exploring new styles; so much that this website was needed to keep track and advertise more thoroughly the products that she creates.  Dean exclaims that she doesn’t look for international popularity through her jewelry design, but her work has proven to reach women all across North America.
